Culinary recipes and photo recipes. Chinese cabbage salad with tomatoes and cheese (step-by-step recipe with photos) Chinese cabbage salad with tomatoes and cucumber

In our time of food diversity, it has become fashionable to adhere to the principles of proper nutrition. For me, in this regard, the hardest thing was not to eat enough at night. The myth that you can’t eat after 18:00 is really just a myth. However, doctors still advise eating no later than 2-3 hours before bedtime, while trying to avoid fatty, fried, sweet and starchy foods. The good news is that the range of vegetables, fruits and dietary meat in stores today is large. The only difficulty is to combine them so that it is delicious. I offer one of the options for a “light” salad that will not add extra calories to you, but is still quite juicy and tasty.

First, let's prepare the ingredients:
I took half a chicken breast fillet and medium-sized vegetables. Peking cabbage is sold in whole heads of 1 kg. We will only need 1/3 of a head of cabbage - approximately 300 grams.

1. First of all, you need to wash the chicken fillet and cook it in salted water.

To make the fillet cook faster, you need to divide it into several pieces. In terms of time, cooking the chicken will take 50-60 minutes.

2. While the chicken is boiling, let's take on the vegetables. First of all, I chop the cucumber. To avoid peeling cucumbers, I take smooth ones, rinse them with hot water and cut off the “butts”. You can cut the cucumber in different ways, I do it into small “straws”.

3. Place the cucumber in a container. It is imperative that the dishes have high walls, as the salad will be “voluminous”. I took a simple 3 liter plastic container. The finished dish can be transferred to the salad bowl when ready.

4. Now let's take on the tomato. You need to wash it, cut off the mark from the stalk and cut into cubes.

5. Add chopped tomato to the bowl with the cucumbers.

6. Separate the leaves of Chinese cabbage from the head, cut the pulp of the leaves from the stalk.

7. Cut the leaves lengthwise into several “strips”

8. Then collect all the “strips” and carefully cut them crosswise. This will slightly reduce the volume of the finished dish. And besides, I personally don’t like “burdocks” in salad.

9. Add chopped cabbage to the bowl with the vegetables.

10. After the fillet is cooked, you need to take it out and cool it.

11. After cooling, the fillet should be cut into cubes.

12. Then add the shredded fillets to the bowl.

13. Once all the ingredients are already in the bowl, there are several dressing options:
- just add salt to taste without oil or sauces,
- salt and season with vegetable oil,
- season with soy sauce and vegetable oil and no salt required,
- season with a mixture of mayonnaise and garlic and then the salad will no longer be dietary, but quite piquant.
I use vegetable oil and soy sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons of oil and 1 tbsp. spoon of soy sauce for this volume. My husband prefers only salt. Therefore, we each fill up in our own way.

This is what our ready-made dietary dish for dinner looks like:

Thank you for your attention and bon appetit!

    You can sing the praises of Chinese cabbage because it provides unlimited possibilities when it comes to preparing salads. Its tenderness and juiciness, soft fresh taste, compatibility with a variety of ingredients - these are not all the advantages of Chinese cabbage. If we add here what in the East makes cabbage the main vegetable on the table, namely: the presence of vitamins, a special amino acid that prevents the appearance of cancer cells, the ability to remove heavy metals and improve immunity - then we must admit that this vegetable is very good for health.

    Chinese cabbage is good with meat and seafood, cheese and, of course, other vegetables. Tomatoes in a salad with Chinese cabbage create a very balanced taste.

    Cooking steps:

    5) Post Chinese cabbage salad into a salad bowl and serve. This salad is light, juicy, and at the same time nutritious thanks to the cheese and mayonnaise dressing. Can be served for breakfast, used for a snack or a full lunch in combination with other dishes.

    In the summer, as a rule, not only our lifestyle changes - we become more mobile and try to use every moment to have the best and most interesting time possible. But at the same time, our diet is changing. This is quite natural - after all, at the height of the vegetable and fruit season, it would be very strange to eat canned foods. That is why most of our menu is replaced by light vegetable dishes - salads and appetizers, soups, stews, etc.
    At this time, I also try to lighten my menu as much as possible and prepare a variety of vegetable dishes. Once upon a time, my grandmother gave me a cookbook that contained recipes for vegetable dishes, and since then, I have been happily preparing my dishes using it.
    I want to recommend you such a wonderful and very simple summer salad with Chinese cabbage, tomatoes and cucumbers, which can be both homemade and quite festive. I like that it comes out very bright, textured, and, of course, juicy, rich in taste - because it contains fresh vegetables, which we mix with butter and lemon juice.
    For the dish we will need ripe tomato fruits (preferably fleshy varieties), cucumbers (salad can be used, but garden-grown ones are much tastier). And also lettuce pepper (in order for the salad to be in contrast, it is better to take orange-colored fruits) and pekinka (in principle, I sometimes replace it with leaf lettuce), but the “highlight” of the dish will be sweet corn (you can boil frozen or take it in its natural canned form).
    You can present the salad in different ways, it all depends on the situation and your imagination.

    I also recommend you prepare it for any holiday.

    An indecently easy-to-prepare salad is a real godsend for housewives. You can easily experiment with the ingredients of the dish, creating a new rich taste each time!

    Ingredients:

    – 1 large salad cucumber;

    – half a fork of Chinese cabbage;

    – 3-4 medium tomatoes;

    – sweet pepper – 1/2 pcs.;

    – several medium radishes;

    – fresh herbs (basil, dill, etc.);

    – for dressing – vegetable oil, vinegar;

    – ground black pepper and salt – to taste.

    1. Naturally, all vegetables for tomatoes and cucumbers must be thoroughly washed. It is also advisable to put them in clean water for several hours. This will not only make them crispier, but all the nitrates they contain will remain in the water and not in your body. Peking cabbage needs to be disassembled into leaves and washed individually. The top leaves should be thrown away without regret. Next you need to chop the cabbage. Also, don't forget to use the white part of the cabbage. Although it is tougher, it is juicier and contains all the vitamins and nutrients. Place the chopped cabbage in a salad bowl, add salt to taste, and add a little vinegar if desired.

    2. Cut the cucumber into cubes or slices. If you use ground cucumbers, you need to wash them especially thoroughly and check for bitterness. If you come across a bitter vegetable, it can ruin the entire taste of the Chinese cabbage salad, so in this case it would be better to peel it.

    3. Cut off the tails and any damage to the skin of the radishes, cut them like a cucumber.

    4. Sweet peppers for a salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and cabbage should also be cut into small pieces at your discretion. Of course, before this it is necessary to remove the seeds and partitions.

    5. It is advisable to take fleshy tomatoes for vegetable salad with cabbage, because their watery cousins can release too much juice.

    6. Next, you need to chop the greens for our salad with cabbage and cucumbers. Don’t forget to rinse and shake it off first so that wet greens don’t stick to your hands. After these manipulations, you need to finely chop the basil leaves - it will give ours a special piquancy and originality. If you don't like basil, you can use other herbs to taste.

    7. You need to do the same with dill.

    8. Place all the ingredients of the salad from Chinese cabbage, tomatoes and cucumbers into a large salad bowl, season with vegetable oil, add salt and pepper.

    9. Mix everything, taste and add more spices if necessary.

    10. That's it, the salad is ready! Serve immediately to the table as a complement to meat and fish.

    Bon appetit!
