Dragon age inquisition companion approval. RPG Dragon Age Series

In the game Dragon Age: Inquisition, we will be given 3 more poor fellows to load, who will interfere under our feet throughout the game and conduct sentimental conversations. In fact, at the start, it turns out that it is we who go into the load to an already balanced group. Judge for yourself: there is a shield mage, there is a tank, there is an archer and a damage dealer. We can only duplicate an existing type ... Let's figure it out more specifically with whom we will have to be friends throughout the game ...

Cassandra Pentaghast

Description: Cassandra was born into the noble Pentaghast family of Nevarra. This clan is famous for its poaching habits, namely, hunting for dragons, it's no joke - Cassandra's brother - Anthony was considered one of the best. Cassandra's relationship with magicians somehow did not work out initially - when the warrior still walked under the table, to her house the blood mages arrived. You see, they urgently needed fresh blood of dragons for some rituals, which they demanded from the Pentaghast family. Having received a refusal, the magicians did not stand on ceremony for a particularly long time - they killed Cassandra's brother and uncle. After this, Cassandra no longer distinguished magicians by party affiliation and began to hate everyone, without exception. In the second part of the game, she was seen torturing, on behalf of the Church, the dwarf Varrik ....

She got into the Order of the Seekers of Truth by accident, but there she won respect for her military skills. In the course of training, Cassandra mastered a special style of combat, a kind of alloy of a warrior and a robber. She can fight with a long sword and shield or with two swords. They give us Cassandra at the very beginning of the game and she is provided with the role of a tank.

Varric Tetras

Race Dwarf
Floor Male
Class Rogue
Activity Merchant, spy
Title Trade Prince

Description: Varric's family, oddly enough, was of noble birth (he is the youngest son of the Tethras family) until the moment when they had to leave Orzammar for the surface. Varric himself bothered to be born in Kirkwall and had never been underground in his life. The cunning and treacherous Varric, before the events in the game, only pretends to be an idler, in fact, he leads a whole network of spies and informers, and his main task is to provide information to his family and, if possible, solve some family problems.

Of the special features of Varric, his favorite crossbow Bianca, to which he is very attached and in the Inquisition does not want to change it to a bow on principle. So far, no one has managed to split the gnome, why he is so attached to this weapon ... Varric was born on the surface and does not really want to be like a warrior. His connections with his ancestors are limited to the Merchant Guild, but even their intrigues are not to Varric's liking.

In the Inquisition, Varric is given to us almost at the start, and in the early stages of the game, he is a rather valuable participant, if you swing him as a damage dealer, then the power of his beloved Bianca fades away...

Solas

Description: This suffocator is also given to us at the beginning of the game, I would advise not to be smart and immediately turn it into a shield. Solus is an incomprehensible and mysterious comrade. In some incomprehensible way, he managed to be an apostate and did not encounter the forces of the Church. Again, without mentors, teachers and guidance, he managed to master magic and even explore, within certain limits, the world of spirits in the Shadow, and his knowledge in this area is very deep. A rift forces him onto the stage, and at a time when the other magicians simply fled, Solas went on the warpath, even at the risk of being captured. As Solus himself states, he could not stand aside when the life of all living things is at stake.

Dorian Pavus

Description: But this comrade will be slipped to us a little later. Dorian is a Tevinter renegade mage. A gifted magician from birth, he also managed to be born into a wealthy family. Naturally, all this could not but affect the character of Dorian, this friend is arrogant, sometimes arrogant and independent. Because of this character, he resolutely rejected all the plans and ideas of not only the family, but also the state and became a vagabond. He nailed to the inquisitors, considering them a force, equal and promising, he hopes that he will be able to introduce his ideas of equality and brotherhood ...

Cole

Description: If nothing is clear with Solas (how he mastered magic on his own and studied the Shadow), then nothing is clear with Cole at all. This comrade lived on the lower tiers of the White Spire and at one fine moment wanted to help the Inquisition, all of a sudden.

Being essentially a ghost, he skillfully uses this - he walks unnoticed in the crowd, cuts enemies from the shadows and erases his memory after meeting. Cole himself is not entirely sure who he is and where he came from, being stuck between worlds. What is more in it: a man or a demon - it is not clear to anyone. As for me, just a poorly developed character in the plot plan ...

In combat, Cole is supposed to be used as a 2-blade stealth, but I didn't really like it, too pale character.

Vivien

Race Human
Floor Female
Class Mage
Title Elder Enchantress
Activity Enchantress at the Imperial Court of Orlais

Description: Madame Vivienne is from the Free Marches and is of Rivaine ancestry. This madam represents the senior sorceress of the Orlesian Circle of Magi. Vivien was one of the main candidates for the post of First Enchanter in Montsimmar, but the conflict between the magicians and the templars did not allow her to officially assume this position, and the civil war in Orlais did not contribute to this. Vivienne is also often referred to as the "iron lady" - "Madame de Fer", this formidable magician achieved her position through cunning and skillful political play.

Vivienne is proud and cannot stand it when something or someone tries to limit her. Having entered the Inquisition, Vivien first of all tries to restore order to the world, not forgetting about herself, her beloved. Constant skirmishes with Solas, who took a completely opposite path and achieved a result, are great entertainment, although in battle Vivien constantly flies ahead of the tank and does not help the group in any way, unlike Solas.

Blackwall

Race Human
Floor Male
Class Warrior
Title Guard Constable
Activity Gray Warden

Description: Comrade Blackwall is the Warden-Constable of the Orlesian city of Val Chevin. Blackwall is one of the few Guardians who willingly and enthusiastically chose his path. He believes wholeheartedly in the noble cause of the Gray Wardens and would not trade this life for any other. However, in the game, he doesn’t think for a very long time when the goals coincide with the goals of the Inquisition and joins our orderly ranks. As for me, the second tank in the team is not needed for nothing, the shield mage has much more opportunities, although I could be wrong.

Iron Bull

Description: The Iron Bull is a representative of the Qunari. Little is known about these very Qunari in Thedas, it is believed that these are harsh horned giants who sailed from the north to conquer the continent. They adhere to the ascetic philosophy of Kun, and put it into practice through the hands of their secret police and spy service - Ben-Hazrat. Iron Bull is one of the agents of this service, he successfully caught spies, rebels and deserters, until he suddenly felt that he could no longer do this. In order not to lose a good employee, the authorities sent him to Orlais for observation and reconnaissance. Scout, I must say, from the Bull is mediocre, at the first meeting he reveals all the cards. By and large, he doesn't care who to fight with - the main thing is to get paid.

It seems that the Bull should have fit perfectly into the group - heavy armor and Two-handed weapon provide protection and damage, but no matter how I tried, the warrior turns out to be strange from him - not so high damage and not so good protection- this deer falls like a rag.

Sulfur

Race Elf
Floor Female
Class Rogue

Description: Madame this is an elf archer, an alternative to Varric. She is quite impulsive and lives in the moment. Sera is used to fighting for those who are caught between two fires, but she, like everyone else, needs order in the world. The world must become normal so that she can live and have fun in it.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Companions was last modified: December 23rd, 2014 by admin

In the game Dragon Age: Origins, companions play a very important role in the process of passing, of which you can meet as many as ten. If you make friends with them and build strong relationships, you can periodically receive amenities in the form of bonuses to your abilities, and also gain access to quests. And of course, this is very useful when a crisis situation arises.

Leliana will meet you during the battle with Logelain

It is also possible to go beyond friendship and start dating some characters. To do this, you must go personal quest chosen one. Also, do not forget that the satellite will leave if the level of approval of your actions decreases and is less than 100. Also, if some Dragon Age satellites you are tired, you can always say goodbye to him yourself. In crisis situations, any hero-companion can get angry with you and turn into an enemy - skirmishes are not ruled out.

Companions in Dragon Age: general information

Throughout the game world there are some places where you should go in search of satellites. It is there that you will start talking to them, and you can even open some kind of extra-plot quest, which your dialogue partner will tell you about. If you want to start a conversation, then you should go to Lothering, to Radcliffe (bridge), to the northern part of the Denerim Trade District, the bridge in Orzamaria, you can also go to the Mage Tower and the Dalish camp. At the same time, the chance to start talking with a satellite can only be used once. If you want to again, you will have to enter the location again.

Alistair will accompany you almost from the beginning of the game

The guard who accompanies you can also speak to those who go with them. At the same time, the location of the camp allows you to choose a variety of topics. Your friend can become the initiator of the conversation. This serves to open quests and work on the relationship level.

List of satellites:

  • Alistair is a soldier who will accompany you almost from the start of the game. If you act in a way that he does not like, he can leave you during the Gathering of the Lands.
  • Morrigan is a wizard. He is also a werewolf that you will meet when the story takes you to Ishal.
  • Leliana - this girl will get to know you during the battle with Logelain.
  • Zevran - a real bandit that you will recognize on the Long Road / Morrigan (werewolf mage, entropy, 181 page of the Codex) - joins after being rescued from the tower of Ishal.
  • Sten - you will redeem him from the ministry of the reverend in Lotheringey
  • Wynn is a doctor-mage who can become your companion while helping the Circle of Mages.
  • Oghren is a berserker who will be your companion when you go after Perfect Branca in the Deep Roads.
  • Sheila is a warrior who will want to be with you when you activate Honlit's control metal. It is an addition to the main game "Stone Prisoner".
  • Loghain MacTeer will be Alistair's replacement for the finale of the Gathering of Lands.

Each character has its own character:

  • Leliana, Wynn, Alistair are good heroes, but they can take a neutral position. Chaotic Good, Neutral Good, Ordered Good.
  • Morrigan, Zevran, Sten are evil heroes, although they can also become neutral.
  • Sheila, Oghren, Loghain are neutral characters.

Dragon Age Companion Gifts

You can present gifts to your comrades in order to increase the level of influence exerted on the character. Almost always, what you give will be of interest to only one of the satellites. So do not worry that someone else will need it, and the one who will not be presented to a godfather will be offended. For example, Lelianna is madly in love with the religious talismans of the church, but Morrigan is better not to give this.

To the Dragon Age gifts companions to give to someone who needs them, you need to refer to a special Code. It has everything on how to increase Influence up to level 25. And you can also learn from the dialogues. Some gifts provoke a companion to talk to you.

Zevran is very fond of precious ingots and leather goods.

By the way, if you try to give a gift not to someone who likes it, the companions will simply refuse. But this applies only to special gifts. After all, there are some that suit everyone.

Each gift increases the level of approval by as much as ten points. However, with each subsequent one, this number of points awarded will decrease by one. However, there is one category of gifts that gives you the opportunity to earn more than 10 points - these are Special Gifts. They appear when the companion himself asks you. Only then will you know what they need. For example, Zevran can ask you for Dalish gloves, they will increase the level of influence by 12 points.

All simple gifts that can be given to each companion can only increase the level by five points. However, if you give with negative intent, the influence drops.

Influence is best increased when you communicate with your companion, and if you also meet with him, then you can easily increase to a hundred.

Dragon Age: Each Companion in Detail

Alistair is very loyal to you, he will not leave even if you achieve a level of influence and approval of minus one hundred. He's not being kicked out. And if you reach high level Approvals, then Alistair will help your Guardian to become a Templar.

Alistair has a special quest "Alastair's Family", for this you will need to go with Alistair to his sister.

Getting rid of this companion is possible only if you do not kill Loghain.

And for Alistair to fall in love with you (if you play a female character), then you will only have to go to flirt. Then there are two options for the final: marriage, breakup.

Morrigan

Morrigan will get to you when Flemeth insists on it. Morrigan will be able to turn you into a werewolf like her. She is selective in who she helps, and also does not like it when you are too kind to others.

Her special quest is called Grimoire Flement. And for this, in Dragon Age, companions must go with you in search of the Black Grimmoire. Irving will have it.

To have an affair with Morrigan, you need to reach an influence level of 30 and be alone with her. After that, she can give you a magic ring, but there will be no happy ending with her.

She can leave before the battle in the final game or leave after you win.

The girl will get to know you when you fight Loghain's warriors. It will help you to know what is the specialty of Bard. Her quest is her Past. To avoid this task, you need to talk with Marjoline, and then with Leliana. In some cases, you can make her tougher if you begin to insist on the similarity of Leliana and Marjoline in a dialogue with her.

You can have an affair with Leliana even as a woman, even as a man. If everything goes well, you will receive a ring from her.

If, during the passage of the "Urn of Sacred Ashes", you somehow desecrate the ashes, then Leliana will try to leave you. Only hardened Dragon Age companions won't do that.

Zevran and his company of bandits will attack your group. You can either kill him or take him to the team after you deal with the others. He will turn you into assassins.

He does not have his own task, but a critical situation arises - you can cross paths with Talisen. If you are in a bad relationship with Zeran, he will go to another. Further, you can even fight Talisen.

Zevran can be romanced by either gender.

Mabari

Mabari is a dog that you can get in the prologue if you chose to play as Noble. And if not, then you should complete the Houndmaster's task.

Sten

Dragon Age companions can spawn at any time. So you will get to know Stan - you will need to help him get away from the Reverend Mother.

His task is connected with the return of the sword. He is with the dwarf Dvin from Redcliffe. It can either be redeemed, or taken by force, or found in housing.

Sten can get away from you if you take him to the Sanctuary from the Urn of Sacred Ashes.

Wynn

Wynn, like the rest of Dragon Age Origins satellites will join during the passage of the "Broken Circle". And now you will also have to go through her special quest. It's called Wynn's Regret. And now the girl will tell you about the character Ainerin.

And only when you find him to talk, the quest will be considered completed.

Wynn can leave when you tell about your intention to fight with the magicians or you have desecrated the ashes.

Oghren

This companion has a task for you: you will need to find his beloved Felzi.

There is also a secret companion in the game.

Loghain

Loghain will join you when you don't kill him in the Gathering of the Lands. However, Alistair will then have a grudge - he will leave you instead.

New part Dragon games Age has introduced a new range of key heroes, and has not forgotten about the characters from the previous parts, so you can meet both old and new party members in the game. But the game will show players not only satellites, but also key non-playable characters from previous parts, such as Morgan, Alistair and many others. Below you can see the followers you can recruit into your Inquisition:

Varric Tetras - he is Hawke's companion from the previous part, he is also a dwarf, he is also an adventurer. In general, nothing new, everyone has already met him in Dragon Age 2. Consists of a very influential trading family of his fellow dwarves of the surface. After the events that happened in the second part, he decided to join the Inquisition.

Cassandra Pentaghast is the same seeker of truth from the second part, she also interrogated Varric. Also, because of personal motives and beliefs, she decided to become a member of the Inquisition.

The Iron Bull is a member of the Qunari race. The head of a very famous mercenary squad. Conducted various espionage operations in other regions, at the behest of the same Qunari. Enters the Inquisition because he wants to learn more about the activities of a rapidly growing order. Distinguished from other Qunari by his friendliness and courtesy to chat. He does not like to follow the instructions of Kun, he prefers to take everything in life that he can take away in his hands.

Vivien is a magician from the famous Orlais. She was among the first candidates for the position of First Enchanter, but as political tensions began to rise sharply in the country, she was forced to leave her native land and join the ranks of the Inquisition in order to somehow find a way to save her fellow magicians.

Solas is an elf mage who is also an apostate. Master of the Shadow and all who dwell there. While still a baby, he began to practice magic and soon brought his magical abilities to perfection. The knowledge of Solas is simply essential for the Inquisition, as you need to know what you are fighting and how to fight.

Sera is an archer of elven origin. She was born and raised for a long time on the streets of Orlais. Quite impulsive, but also a simple-minded girl. Constantly enjoying the present moments of life. Joins the ranks of the Inquisition in order to dispel many questions unknown to her.

Dorian Pavus is a renowned Tevinter magister who constantly fights against slavery. Opposes slavery. He tries with all his might to prevent his comrades-in-arms from following the path of evil and darkness, due to a lack of his strength, in the midst of the war between the Mages and the Templars, he joins the ranks of the Inquisition.

Cole is something completely new. He is a demon who came from the shadows, for quite a long time he considered himself the ghost of a once-existing person. It has the ability to become invisible to most of humanity, it can also mysteriously influence their consciousness.

Blackwall is the man who will bind one order to another. Blackwall represents the order of the Gray Wardens who dwell in Vale Chevin. Has his own personal beliefs. He believes that the Gray Wardens must protect Thedas not only from the Blight, but also from other evil spirits and villains. Thus, he joins the ranks of the Inquisition. He knows and is fond of the legends of his order.

Non-playable characters

- The protagonist of Ferelden - main character the first part - Dragon Age: Origins. The last member of the legendary order of the Gray Wardens that once dwelt in Ferelden. Race and gender depend on the player's choice at the start of the game. He took a key role in the fight against the fifth Blight and in other events that took place at the same time. The ending depended on the choices and actions of the protagonist.

Hawk is the main character of the second part - Dragon Age II. Unlike the previous part, the main race is human, but the choice of gender was up to the player's choice. When the events of the fifth Blight took place, he fled from the destroyed Lothering to the city of Kirkwall, where he lived for the last seven of his years. He took part in the uprising of magicians and chose one of the two sides of this conflict (templars or magicians). After what happened in the city, he disappeared without a trace.

Leliana - she accompanied the main character of the first part - the Gray Guardian of Ferelden throughout the game. She is a bard girl. Becomes a loyal ally of the Order of the Inquisitors. She is the leader of the Purple Crows faction, and therefore is her direct representative.

Kellen is a character that appears in all previous parts of the game as a templar knight. In the first part, he served in the Circle of Mages, which was located in Ferelden. In the second part, he took part in the uprising of magicians in the city of Kirkwall. After all the events that he experienced, he treats magicians with quite a lot of distrust. He is also an ally of the Inquisitors. He is the leader of the Red Fists faction.

Josephine Montillier - she is a rather old friend of Leliana known to you, as well as a representative of a rather influential Antivan family (the eldest daughter in the family). He is an ally of the Inquisitor and represents the interests of this organization, but only in the field of diplomacy.

Flemeth - the most powerful and no less mysterious person from the two previous parts, is found almost everywhere, but little is known about her.

Morrigan is the child (daughter) of Flemeth. Pursues goals that are not entirely clear. In the original part of Dragon Age: Origins, she accompanied the Gray Warden everywhere. There are several endings to the completion of the first part with Morrigan. She either saved the life of the hero of Ferelden, or saved the life of the second To the Gray Warden who was in the squad. Having conceived a child with one of the guardians, she placed the soul of the slain Archdemon into him. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, she plays the role of an adviser to the Empress of Orlais - Selina I.

Alistair is a surviving Gray Warden who is an associate and friend of the Hero of Ferelden. Depending on the choice in the first part, he occupies completely different positions.

Anora is the brainchild (daughter) of Teirn Loghain and the wife of the late King Cailan Tyreen of Ferelden. A woman who has the quality to get her way at any price. Depending on how you did in the first part, you can occupy completely different positions.

Selina I is the youngest empress in the history of Orlais. She was already behind the throne at the age of 16. He tries by all means to build the warmest possible relations with the inhabitants and the government of Ferelden. She also tries to find a peaceful settlement of the conflict between the Mages and the Templars, so most of the nobles do not support her intentions.

Gaspard de Chalon - The Greatest Duke, is a cousin of the Empress Selina I. He is a Veteran and Chevelier of the Orlesian Empire. Since he does not like the diplomatic approaches of Selina, he tries with all his might to fight her for power over the empire.

Sir Michel de Chevin - he is the personal bodyguard of the Empress Selina I (chevalier in the service).

Satellite locations in Dragon Age: Origins depends on decisions made during the course of the story, as well as gifts. Approval brings bonuses in battle (increase in magic, willpower, dexterity, constitution, cunning, strength), opens and. Bonuses are issued for every 20-25 points of location, and are divided into four levels: minor (minor), moderate (moderate), significant (major) and solid (massive). With a bad location, the satellite may leave the squad and never return. When making decisions, it is necessary to take into account the possible reaction of the companion, based on his character, which is revealed and learned in the course of the main plot of the game. Sometimes deadlock situations will arise when it is impossible to please all the companions from the squad at once. In such cases, one should try to choose a less conflicting option so as not to spoil relations with the dissenting party. And if, nevertheless, they offended the satellite, it can greatly simplify the reconciliation of the parties. The location level of each companion to the main character can be found in the inventory menu by pressing the [I] key. The horizontal multi-colored scale under the figure of the satellite is the desired indicator.

The scale of favor, or approval, in Dragon Age: Origins:

  • Friendly relations(Friendly): +76 to +100.
  • warm relationship(Warm): +26 to +75.
  • Neutral relations(Neutral): -25 to +25.

  • A crisis(Crisis): -100.

Cassandra, Varric and Solas join you in the Prologue. You will not be able to refuse their company.

Unlike this trinity, you can opt out of recruiting any of the followers below.

Vivien

After the scene with Lord Seeker Lucius during the quest "The Danger Is Not Over", an envoy of the Circle of Magicians will appear in Val Royeaux at the Summer Market, who will give you an invitation to a party on behalf of a certain sorceress Vivien. This will give you the Imperial Enchantress quest. Go to the indicated place (you need to go to the world map for this). After you watch the cutscene and decide what to do with your opponent, Vivien will offer her services to you.

Iron Bull

The quest "Captain Bulls" will appear in your journal after returning from Val Royeaux and talking with your advisors. Exit the Church and talk to the mercenary messenger - Krem. He will invite you to a meeting with the leader of their group, Iron Bull. The Iron Bull is located on the Storm Coast not far from your first camp. Talk to him and you will be able to recruit him as an ally, and the rest of his mercenaries will join the Inquisition as an additional military unit.

Sulfur

After you witness the strange encounter between Lord Seeker Lucius and Reverend Mother Evara while following the quest The Danger Is Not Over, in just a few minutes, while exploring the Summer Market, an arrow with a mysterious message will pierce the ground under your nose. This will activate the "Red Jenny's Friend" quest.

In accordance with the message, look for "red clothes" in the market, on the pier and in the tavern. Go to the marked places and look for a red handkerchief on the floor - for this you need to activate the search button. It's not as difficult as it looks - the right place is marked with a quest marker, so you will always have an idea where exactly to start looking. In addition, the red scarf is quite bright and attracts attention. (But you still need to press the search button to activate it.) The tavern and the marina are located on the same level, but the desired market is on the top - go to the map to be transported to the right place (map levels can be changed in the upper right corner ). After you find all three messages, you will receive a key and a new location that you can visit by opening the world map. Go there, watch the video, kill the enemies that have appeared and decide whether or not to take an unexpected ally as a permanent companion.

Blackwall

Upon your return from Val Royo, Leliana will share with you her worries about the strange disappearance of the Gray Wardens in Ferelden and Orlais. This will give you the Lone Guardian Quest. Go to the place marked on the map of the Inner Lands and help the Gray Warden with his "recruits" fight off the attackers. After that, you will have the opportunity to get him as an ally.

Cole

You meet Cole during the Defenders of Justice quest, although he will not join you during this quest. Cole himself will find you after completing the quest and you will get the opportunity to recruit him into your group.
If you didn't follow the path of the templars and chose the Whisper of Seduction quest instead, Cole will find you when you start the next story quest, tell you what happened to the templars, and offer his services.

Dorian

Recruiting Dorian is pretty much the same as recruiting Cole, except that you have to follow the mage path and choose the quest "The Whisper of Seduction" to meet him. (Theoretically, you can meet him and still choose the templars, as you can visit Redcliffe and talk to the mages before you reach the "point of no return". The point of no return for these two quests is the moment they both become available on your map of military operations.)

If you have chosen the quest " Seductive whisper”, then Dorian will accompany you during this mission, and after it you will have the opportunity to recruit him permanently. If you chose the Defenders of Justice quest, then, like Cole, Dorian will show up in the Sanctuary himself at the beginning of your next story quest, tell you what happened to the magicians in Redcliffe, and offer his services.
