Quite a long time ago, an amazing story happened to one boy. His father was a railroad switchman. The job seems to be easy! Know yourself, translate the arrows. But this only seems to be simple - you almost miss, you miss a moment, and tens, hundreds of people can die. So one day, having heard the beeps of a rapidly approaching train, the switchman already reached out with his hand to the lever to put the train on a free track, but for some reason looked back. He looked around and froze: his three-year-old son was running along the rails towards the rushing train. There was not a second to call out to him. There was only a moment to decide: turn the lever and save the train with people from death, or ... The switchman turned the lever. Rumbling, shaking the ground, wagon after wagon rushed past. When the last car passed, the father rushed to the place where he saw his son.
"What about him? he thought with horror. And what? The boy lay on the ground with his arms folded.
"Son, are you alive?"
- Alive. Alive! – cheerfully answered the boy and jumped to his feet.
- How did you guess to lie down on the ground? the father asked.
The little boy answered with a smile:
“Some uncle leaned over me.
- What uncle?
- So beautiful, bright ... with wings ...
Who do you think saved the boy from death? (Answers)

III. Learning new material

The topic of our lesson is "Making an angel doll" ( Attachment 1 , slide 1). Tell me who is an angel? (Answers). Angel - this is a messenger to people, one who protects, protects someone, or is it a saint whose name a person bears. Tell me, please, what is this yellow or gold color above the angel's head? (Answers) Radiance in the form of a light circle around the head is a symbol of holiness called - halo. How do you imagine an angel? How might it look in your mind? (Answers) None of the people have ever seen angels, so in the minds of people they look different: some imagine angels in the form of rosy-cheeked babies ( Attachment 1 , slides 2, 3, 4), others represent a woman in a white robe, ( Attachment 1 , slides 4, 5, 6) many represent angels in the form of a girl or girl. ( Attachment 1 , slides 7, 8, 9) There is information in the literature that angels come with and without wings. They can take on the appearance of a human. Angels in the representation of people are something good and bright, people also believe that each person has his own guardian angel. In order for this clean, bright and good to always be there, people, using their imagination, are trying to make angels in the form of toys, dolls. ( Attachment 1 , slides 10, 11) cut out figures of angels from wood ( Attachment 1 , slide 12), gold-plated marble is used to make angels in the form of a young man or cupid ( Attachment 1 , slides 13, 14), depict them in iconography ( Attachment 1 , slide 15)
Simpler materials are also used to make angels. From a fabric such as organza, angels are light and airy ( Attachment 1 , slide 16) and fabulous angels are obtained from synthetic winterizer ( Attachment 1 , slide 17), unusual pasta ( Attachment 1 , slide 18). Paper also allows you to develop imagination ( Attachment 1 , slide 19) They also make angels from fabric, and they use not only light-colored fabrics, but colored fabrics ( Attachment 1 , slides 20, 21)
Since ancient times in Russia, it was customary to take care of every piece of fabric. They were carefully kept and often "spun" dolls out of them. In the Russian village, a homemade rag doll was the most common toy. In some peasant families, there were up to a hundred of these dolls. Older children made them for small children. From the age of 5-6, the children themselves began to "twirl" the simplest dolls for themselves. On Christmas and Angel Day, it was customary to give dolls - angels. They hung them in the hut, at Christmas they hung them as toys on the Christmas tree ( Attachment 1 , slide 22), hung over the children's bed. Why do you think? (Answers)
Do you want to learn how to make an angel doll? Today we will get acquainted with the ancient technology of making an angel doll. In order to make a doll, we need materials and tools ( Attachment 1 , slide 23)
Look at the screen and name what materials and tools we need? (Answers). Among the tools and materials there is one that needs to be used carefully, which tool are we talking about? (Scissors) What are the safety rules for working with scissors?

  • pass scissors rings forward;
  • on the table should lie on the right side;
  • close scissors after work
  • cut with scissors at some distance from the eyes

Take it all necessary materials and tools from the table and arrange them as shown on the screen ( Attachment 1 , slide 24). You may have difficulty tying knots while working. To do this, you can ask a neighbor to hold the doll, and at this time you tie knots, that is, you must help each other. If you don't understand something, don't be afraid to raise your hand and ask. Now I see that you are ready to go, let's get started. Now I will tell you the sequence of making an angel doll, you will listen carefully, look at the screen and at the same time follow the slides.
(Making dolls using slides)
Place a piece of cotton in the middle of the fabric.
Attachment 1 , slide 25
Close the piece of cotton wool with the second half of the fabric. Formation of the head of an angel.
Attachment 1 , slide 26
Formation of the head of an angel.
Attachment 1 , slide 27
Hold the end of the thread with one finger. Wrap the other end around your head twice.
Attachment 1 , slide 28
Tie three knots
Attachment 1 , slide 29
Cut off the ends of the threads. Spread your wings and dress your angel

Students with a teacher hang out their work, examine their work, evaluate them, find errors. It notes:

  • accuracy of work;
  • the correct execution of the doll;

Since the creation of the world and man, there have always been creatures that interfere with people, and that help. Angels, Cherubim, Seraphim - perhaps there is not a single person on earth who has not heard about these incorporeal forces. Since ancient times, people have known about the existence of angels, they were revered, and continue to be revered in many religions, angels are revered by almost all peoples of the world. Angels are mentioned more than once in Holy Scripture, their actions are described in fulfilling the will of God, helping the righteous, as well as protecting people from troubles and misfortunes with their angelic cover. But, angels are mentioned not only in the main Christian book, the Holy Fathers also left information about them, to whom heavenly beings appeared more than once and conveyed to them the will of the Almighty, they did, because according to God's plan, he sends angels to notify, bring news, therefore they are called angels, that is, messengers.

The Lord endowed his disembodied messengers with many gifts and powerful power, with the help of which God's spiritual essences can influence the world of things and man, but only by the will of the Lord and his desire, fulfilling his will. With all their essence, the angels love their Creator and remain in tireless gratitude to him for the bliss in which they are, and this bliss cannot be compared with anything. There are a lot of angels, sometimes the mind of a person is lost in their countless number. In fact, everything is much simpler, because among the angels of heaven, there is its own harmony, order and hierarchy, which is described in the creation of the disciple of the Holy Apostle Paul - the passion-bearer and martyr Dionysius the Areopagite. According to the writings of St. Dionysius, the heavenly hierarchy has three degrees, each of which has three ranks, respectively, a total of nine spiritual entities:

    Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones - are distinguished by their closeness to the Most High God. dominance;

    Forces and Powers - emphasize the basis of the universe and world domination;

The beginnings - the Archangels and Angels - are distinguished by their closeness to each person.

Our Lord Jesus Christ pours out his love on all his angels, starting from the highest faces, therefore the angelic ranks are in complete harmony and subordination of the lower ranks to the higher ones, according to the hierarchy.

seraphim- this name means "Flaming, Fiery." They are always close to the Lord, of all the angels they are closest to the Heavenly Father. They burn with divine and great love for the Lord, transfer it to other faces, inflaming them. This is their main purpose, and their main task.

Cherubim This name means "chariot". The prophet Ezekiel saw them in the form of a lion, an eagle, an ox and a man. This means that the Cherubim combine intelligence, obedience, strength and speed, are God's chariot and stand before the throne of God. Cherubim know everything that the Lord gives to know his children, through them God sends wisdom and knowledge of it into the world.

Thrones- spiritual essences shining with the light of knowledge of God. God Himself rests on them not sensually, but spiritually, and executes His just judgment. Their purpose is to help the children of God, to be honest and act only in justice.

dominance- rule over the subsequent ranks of angels. Their direct purpose is to protect from the fall, to tame obstinacy, to overcome the thirst for temptation and to piously control one's feelings.

Forces- created by the Lord in order to work miracles, to bestow the gifts of clairvoyance, healing from ailments, and miracles to the saints of God and the righteous holy fathers. They help people endure hardships and hardships, bestow wisdom, fortitude and prudence.

Authorities- The True God is endowed with special power, they are able to tame the actions and power of Satan. Their direct purpose is to protect earthly inhabitants from the machinations of the devil, to protect the ascetics in their pious life, and to pacify the natural elements.

Beginnings- they lead the lower degree of angels, direct their deeds to fulfill the will of God. They govern the universe, the world and the peoples inhabiting the earth. Earthlings are taught to live not for their own benefit, but for the glory of God.

Archangels- were created to bring good news to the world of people, to reveal the sacrament of the Christian faith, and to convey the will of the Lord to people. They are the conductors - Revelations.

Angels- the main defenders of ordinary people, every person has, they guide him on the path of righteousness, protect him from evil spirits and evil spirits, keep him from falling and help the fallen to rise.

According to the Holy Scriptures, the Archangel Michael, the heavenly warrior and commander-in-chief of the angelic host, is placed above all angelic ranks. Led by the Archangel Michael, the Divine Angels cast down the proud angel and all those who followed Satan into the underworld. The great warrior of the forces of heaven, Archangel Michael, took part in many heavenly battles and defended the people of Israel in troubles and hardships.

WE HAVE ANGELS FOR EACH OF US...

We all have angels
They follow us invisibly
They will not leave us in difficult times,
And do not offend with rude words.

They don't give us gifts and flowers,
But they give you the opportunity to become wiser,
Rise up above the world of vanity,
Do good, not sparing your strength.

They will stop us at the edge
And they will not let us stumble into the abyss.
Though they won't tell us "I love you"
But they will pray for us day and night.

They often give us signs,
When they want to help make a decision,
They believe in us, they lead us forward
Through all the madness, delusion and doubt.

So let your angel keep you
From evil slander, false promises,
From petty friends, empty grievances,
Unnecessary meetings and bitter partings!

May your angel always keep you
Despite all the thunderstorms and all the bad weather,
Let his finger, like a bright star,
It will show you the way to love and happiness!...

We are all angels with one wing. And we can only fly in each other's arms.

Luciano De Crescenzo

Angels keep us from harm

Even though we don't know it ourselves.

They give us silent advice,

We are in eternal connection with heaven.

Both adult and baby

Driven by an unknown force

So that our fragile soul

She endured all difficulties in her life.

And we endure the pain

And joy comes to us too.

And we are warm in the middle of winter,

Everything a person can do.

The angel does not leave us.

He protects from bad weather

Protects in difficult times

And share happiness with us.

TWO ANGELS

For life, two angels are given to us as companions
And in spying on us:
Each of them has a wonderful whiteness
Notebook with flying sheets.

In one is entered the good that we do,
All that before conscience we are right;
In another, everything in which we sin before our neighbors,
And every intention is evil.

Hastily lifts up his list of good deeds
One at the feet of the Father-Master;
The other is still waiting: maybe repentance with a tear
Will the evidence be washed away on us?

Petr Vyazemsky

ANGEL

An angel flew across the midnight sky
And he sang a quiet song
And the moon, and the stars, and the clouds in a crowd
Listened to that holy song

He sang about the bliss of sinless spirits
Under the bushes of paradise gardens,
He sang about the great God, and praise
His innocence was...

He carried a young soul in his arms
For a world of sorrow and tears,
And the sound of his song in the soul of a young
Remained, without words, but alive ...

And for a long time she languished in the world,
Full of wonderful desire,
And the sounds of heaven could not be replaced
She boring songs of the earth ...

MOTHER

I remember the bedroom and the lamp
toys, warm bed
And your sweet, meek voice:
"Guardian Angel above you!"
It used to be that the nanny undresses
And scolds in a whisper,
And a sweet dream, misty eyes,
Leaning me to her shoulder.
You cross, kiss,
Remind me that He is with me
And you will enchant with faith in happiness,
I remember, I remember your voice!
I remember the night, the warmth of the bed,
Icon lamp in the dusk of a corner
And shadows from lamp chains.
Weren't you an angel?

Lesson topic: Lecture No. 2. Fallen angels. Sources of knowledge about angels

Greetings. I would like to devote today's lesson to the sources of knowledge about angels, as well as talk about fallen angels. Write the topic on the board.

Many religious texts claim that angels were created on the second day of the creation of the world and endowed with perfection, immortality and free will (Talmud). Some theologians claim that angels were created before the creation of the earth, or together with the creation of heaven and earth. There is no unity in this matter, so let's return to the angels themselves. Most of them immediately chose to give up free will and began to serve their Creator. But some desired their own power and glory - they began to be called "fallen" angels. Those. not everyone wanted to become a part of the light and the Creator, but we should not judge them for this choice to have a will, because we do not condemn humanity, which is also given free will. Angels who refuse the gift serve God and are believed to protect humanity from the fallen. That's just no one undertakes to say for sure that the fallen harmed someone. It's just a religious tradition.

It is more convenient for a person to divide the world into good and bad, Light and Darkness, he has the right to choose, but who gave him the right to judge? And how did man initially differ from the fallen ones? Only by the fact that angels are spiritual entities, and man, here he is, is material. The fallen ones are free in their choice of actions and words. Yes, they can go against the will of God, but more often they simply shock people, revealing to them a different view of the world. And they could live on earth, among us.

There are also so-called demons, or demons (in the Christian sense), which are believed to harm a person, seduce his soul, and live in Hell. I will not consider the detailed meaning of the word "demon", not in angelology, I will only say that initially demons or daimons were considered akin to guardian angels. By the way, demons relatively recently, before the baptism of Russia, were considered just small dirty spirits, even earlier elemental spirits who love to joke, but initially. Christianization gave Russia a lot, but it also caused considerable damage. But let's not talk about that now. The legend of the fallen is such that they did not give up the gift of free will and were cast down from heaven. Everything else is history, its mistakes, gaps, fictions, and so on. From a copyist's mistake, the daimon's guardian spirit turns into an evil demon. And the fallen angels, because of the thousand-year history, are equated with the same demons or demons. I told you this so that you would not equate fallen angels with demons or demons.

I will tell you one of the versions of the confrontation between Lucifer and God. “Initially, Lucifer (“luminiferous”) was “an elder of the 10th rank” of the angels of the Lord, which subsequently did not prevent him from receiving the name Satan and becoming his most implacable opponent. However, these events did not find a serious reflection on the pages of the Bible: single mentions of the event in the Old Testament and short description in the Revelation of John the Theologian. "And there was a war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought against them. But they did not stand, and there was no longer a place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the ancient serpent, called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world, cast down to earth and his angels were cast down with him."

There is no specific story of the overthrow of Satan on the pages of the Bible, which made it possible for the priests to interpret it in different ways. If we consider the interpretations of theologians to be true, then the story looked like this, or almost like this:

“On the fourth day of creation, God “turned on” the sky and placed his throne on it. Then Satan thought: “Here I will set my“ throne on the clouds and be like the Most High, ”and so I did, only now I set the sky higher than the one erected by God. God saw this and built a new heaven, higher than the satanic one. So they built the heavens, until built all five (seven - nine - twelve) levels. After that, God accused Satan of incompetence, since no matter what the latter put his hands on, God has to redo everything, and ordered to leave things. Angel-Satan refused to obey the Almighty and called the rest of the angels "fall away" from God. The "fallen ones" were expelled from divine heaven, but did not rest.

In general, they resemble two brothers who are always arguing who is cooler.

What happened next, I think you can guess. There was a battle. The Fallen have lost were thrown from heaven to earth. Or, as some sources say, to hell. But this is one of the interpretations of theologians. What really happened there is, of course, difficult to find out. But definitely fallen angels have free will and the right to choose, unlike their heavenly brothers.

We have one more issue to consider. It is connected with the sources of knowledge about angels. No one knows exactly where on Earth the tradition of worshiping angels originated. Winged creatures - the messengers of the gods - are spoken of in the most ancient Egyptian, Sumerian, Persian and Indian texts. I note that all these civilizations are considered more ancient than European ones. And on one of the steles of Ancient Sumer that have come down to us, the first civilization in the world, according to historians, a heavenly winged creature is depicted, which fills the goblet of the earthly ruler with the “water of life”.

In ancient Greece, philosophers such as Aristotle and Socrates also believed in angels. Aristotle called them "intelligentsia" (more often this term can be heard among medieval scientists), otherwise "the first matter" or "pure mind". By itself, the first matter represented a single set of angels, a sea of divine grace, and Aristotle did not distinguish hotel angels. The first matter was one, only sometimes it twisted into whirlwinds around the soul of a person, thereby influencing him. Socrates also had his own daimon - a guardian spirit that guides him throughout his life, i.e. it stood out as a kind of essence within a person, it was difficult to separate from consciousness and soul, but at the same time it did not merge with world matter, however, it manifested itself spontaneously. Remember your dialogues with your inner voice - this was the daimon, according to Socrates. It's hard for you to say that it exists outside of you, comes from outside. I gave you two examples of other names, even perceptions, of angels familiar to you in general (according to Aristotle) or only guardians (according to Socrates). I hope this once again helps you realize that the Christian beneficent messenger spirits, the angels and daimons of Socrates, the Gandharvas of Hinduism are very similar, if not the same. But back to the lecture.

The comprehension of angels is engaged in a special science - angelology, which we will study. Angelology is considered an offshoot of sciences that study various aspects of religions and not only, but this does not mean that I will preach in my classes. The purpose of the lessons is to introduce you to the most diverse points of view on angels that exist in the world from ancient times to the present day, as well as to introduce you to the spiritual world, giving the necessary skills and preparing your consciousness for the perception of this world. Engaged in angelology are mainly theologians (in particular, Christian), as well as mystics, philosophers.

Over the centuries, many works have been written about angels and their hierarchies, and parascientific, religious, mystical traditions have been created for their study, often based on the rewriting or translation of earlier manuscripts.

The authors of most of these texts were mystics, prophets, legislators - the creators of religious rituals and moral norms, poets and chroniclers. Numerous sources of knowledge about angels that existed in early Christianity, had the same weighty authority as the canonical books of the Bible today. However, after the exclusion of these texts from the Old Testament, the information contained in them was forgotten. I make a slight bias in Christianity, assuming that most of the believing students are Christians.

Although there are many references to angels in the Bible, no details are given about them except in two or three cases. Gabriel and Michael are named by name in the Old Testament, and Raphael appears in the Book of Tobit (included in the Old Testament of the Catholic and Orthodox Bibles, but not part of the Jewish Bible; included in the Protestant version of the Bible as apocrypha). Some angels in the Old Testament are described as "men in white", as they were prophets dressed in white linen (in ancient times, linen was considered a symbol of immortality).

The richest information about angels is contained in the non-canonical books of Enoch. The 1st Book of Enoch is completely preserved only in Ethiopian, the 2nd Book of Enoch, or the Testament of Levi, has come down to our days in Old Church Slavonic, and the 3rd Book of Enoch in Hebrew. All of them were excluded from the Bible, but centuries later they continue to be quoted by church hierarchs, and they are often mentioned in the New Testament.

Not so long ago, several more fragments of 1st Book of Enoch in Aramaic were discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls. It is believed that they contain the most ancient list of the names of angels.

In the Western religious tradition, the classic work on angels is the treatise "On the Heavenly Hierarchy", one of the texts of Dionysius the Areopagite, an anonymous theologian and philosopher of the 5th century. (The authorship of the "Areopagitics" was erroneously attributed to Dionysius, mentioned in the Bible - Acts 17, 34.) St. Thomas Aquinas made this treatise the basis of the doctrine of angels in the essay "The Sum of Theology", which to this day remains one of the cornerstones of Catholicism.

Islam has always had a strong tradition of honoring angels. Islamic texts mention a huge number of angels. Apparently, their authors were inspired by Zoroastrian, Babylonian, Assyrian and Chaldean books.

One of the richest sources of knowledge about angels is the Jewish mystical teaching, known as "Kabbalah". It is not set forth in any one book, but rather is a collection of oral traditions. However, there are two important texts within the Kabbalah: the Zohar, or Book of Radiance, and the Sephira Yetzirah, or Book of Creation.

I've gone off topic a bit. All previously mentioned sources were created in the past. To date, an interesting religious movement "New Age" (New Era) has arisen. It led to a revival of faith in angels. People who follow the path of spiritual enlightenment testify that they feel contact with angels every day. And although in the past (especially in the Middle Ages) excessive curiosity towards angels was not encouraged among Christian church authorities (they were associated with tricky theological questions that arose due to strife between early Christian sects), and the Apostle Paul generally warned against communicating with them , it should be noted that the Roman Catholic Church has always called on the flock to turn to their guardian angels. The teachings of Jesus Christ do not contain warnings about the dangers of contact with angels. Of course, there are many religious currents and trends today, the New Age movement is only given as an example, since it is based on direct contact with angels or evidence of this. However, this current opened the problem of angelism, i.e. faith in faceless messengers without faith in God himself, without a certain knowledge of the content of the message (because this Divine message is not needed), you can learn more from the article of the same name by M. Epstein.

Here is a summary of the well-known and less common sources of knowledge about angels. As you can see, not only clerics were interested in these spiritual entities. Back in the distant past bygone civilizations left us the works on the basis of which mystical teachings, religious and philosophical treatises were created. Indeed, throughout the history of mankind, various inquisitive minds have wanted to know more about good spirits. There were various approaches for this: religions explained angels as inhabitants of the Kingdom of Heaven and messengers of God, esotericism they talked about angels as spiritual beings, good in nature, which can be used for good or as helpers to achieve goals, philosophers turned their gaze to these spiritual entities as an ideal, an embodiment of thought.

Parable of an Angel...

An angel addressed the man:

Do you want me to show you your life?

I want it, said the man.

The angel raised him above the ground and the man saw his whole life and two pairs of footprints walking side by side...

Who is this next to me?

It's me, says the angel. - I accompany you all your life.

And why is only one pair of footprints sometimes visible?

These are the most difficult periods of your life... - says the angel.

And what, you left me in the most difficult moments? the man asked indignantly.

No, I carried you in my arms ... - the angel answered quietly.

May your angel always be there!

You will find the feeling of this holiday in your soul by the end of our lesson, because today we will talk about one of the most important and main holidays for every person - the day of his Angel, his name day.

epigraph For our today's event, I would like to take the following words:
“Rejoice that your names are written in heaven” (Gospel of Luke (X, 20)

Meanwhile, name day is a special holiday that could be called a day of spiritual birth, since it is associated primarily with the sacrament of Baptism and with the names that our heavenly patrons of the same name bear.

Guys, how do you feel about this day, do you celebrate Angel Day?

As our survey showed, not everyone fully understands the importance and traditions of the holiday. Let's find out today the importance of this day in a person's life

(children read poetry)

Wonderful angel, clear angel,

Inhabitant of the highlands

You fly to me beautiful

In the hour of evening silence.

Teach me how to learn

Righteous in the world to live,

Teach me how to work

And be honest in your heart.

Learn to love and believe

Learn not to judge

Learn not to be hypocritical

And do not despair in adversity.

Question: Who are angels? (children's answers)

slide 2

Guardian angel in Christianity - an angel, a good spirit, given to man God at baptism for help and guidance.

The very word "angel" means in Russian "messenger". God sends holy angels into the world to proclaim His will to people.
To do this, the Angels take on a visible, human form. Many times the Angels appeared to people in the form of beautiful youths in snow-white, shining robes, girded with golden belts.
Angels are depicted as beautiful youths - as a sign of their spiritual beauty and winged - as a sign of their stay in the Kingdom of Heaven.

God gives to every Orthodox Christian at Baptism his special good angel- Guardian Angel. He is our first intercessor and helper. The guardian angel invisibly guards a person during his entire earthly life, and does not leave us even after death.

Question: What is the role of the Guardian Angel?

slide 4

Guardian angel helps a person to do good and prays for him before God. The Guardian Angel protects us from any trouble and, in case of danger, closes us with his wings. A person should love his Guardian Angel and try not to upset him.

slide 5

My mother told me

That my guardian angel

Wherever I am

Always by my side.

I looked around: “Where is the Angel?

Because I don't see him.

If the angel is invisible

How does he keep me? »

And my mother answers me:

"Yes. Your angel is invisible

But remember, my son

Angel next to you.

Like a hat - invisible

He decided to cover himself.

He shines with such a light

What can blind us.

Although the angel of light is invisible,

Oh, trust your mom

He covers you

Delicate wings.

Your angel is worried

If you're bad,

If you offend a friend

Or you take someone else's.

Well, if you are obedient,

And diligent and courteous,

If you are friends with everyone

If in moderation you are playful.

You boldly defend the weak

Helping mom at home

You are a joy for an angel.

He is always by your side"

And I said: "My angel,

You fly more often.

And me, my heavenly friend,

Together: Never leave."

Question: What is the difference between a Guardian Angel and a patron saint?

slide 6

Every Christian, except for the Guardian Angel, has one more patron saint: this is a holy person whose name a Christian bears. At baptism, a person is named after one of the saints of the Christian church.

Question: What is a name day?

name day- a special holiday. This is the day of memory of the saint in whose honor the person was baptized. And this holiday can be called the day of spiritual birth - after all, it is associated primarily with the sacrament of Baptism and with our heavenly patrons of the same name. In the past, name days were considered a more important holiday than the day of "corporal" birth. In addition, in many cases they almost coincided.

That's how many saints every minute are next to us. They help us, warn against bad thoughts and actions.

In front of the icon of Sergius of Radonezh, people ask for recovery, and on September 25, the day of death, many believers celebrate his memory.

Is it possible to ask your Guardian Angel and patron saint about everything?

What requests does he not respond to? Why?

Question. Is it possible to hope for the help of a saint if you ask for something bad for others?
Answer. No.

Let's play Angel Help game". I will call you actions and requests, if you think that you can count on the help of an Angel in them, then clap your hands, if not, shake your head.

1. Do not try to study and rely on the help of the Guardian Angel and patron saint?

2. Ask for help in order to take revenge on a friend.

3. Study well.

4. Help adults.

5. Respect elders.

6. Sneak.

7. Get angry.

8. Ask for forgiveness for bad deeds.

Final word of the teacher

The tradition of celebrating name days has been known in Russia since the 17th century. In the past, name days were considered more important than birthdays. Let's celebrate name days, and we can make this day ourselves a red day on the calendar.

God is love (1 John 4:8).

Life in love is a great joy, the highest bliss. And God wanted other beings to receive this joy.

For this He created the world.

First, God created the angels and placed them in the heavenly abodes. Heaven is a spiritual, invisible world. Then He created our earthly world.

God gives every Christian at baptism a Guardian Angel. Our Heavenly Father commanded His Angels to keep us in all our ways and protect us from all evil (Ps. 90:10-11).

God gave me an angel at baptism.
Let me never see him
I know and believe that day by day
He protects me from enemies!

Guardian Angel is with me day and night
Wherever I am - in a hurry to help me!
I don't know the best doctor in the world,
It's just that I often upset him...

I lie, I'm lazy or I quarrel with someone -
The angel moves away and cries then.
Demons approach me then.
Angel, I'm sorry, without you I'm in trouble!

When you first learned to walk, mom or dad took you by the hand, protecting you from danger. But they cannot always be with us, and dangers lie in wait for us everywhere. We are often alone. Who will help us when they are not around? Our Guardian Angel. He is always and everywhere with us, although we do not see him.

Angela
God, my guardian, pray to God for me.

Angel is my good guardian
Quiet bright patron,
Always pray to an angel
I'm not afraid of anything with him.

Guardian Angel guards you
He knows your secret thoughts,
Luck is having fun with you
And if you sin, he suffers and cries.

And here is the coloring page.

I read two stories to them about the Guardian Angel, listened with bated breath, here is one of them:

In 1885, F. I. Sokolov, assistant head of the Moscow Oktyabrsky railway station, reported such a case. He had a familiar railway
an employee - a switchman who served at one of the stations closest to Moscow, Oktyabrskaya railway. Once, while performing his
On duty on the line, he had to endure terrible moments. A courier train was going from Petrograd to Moscow. The switchman came out to him
towards to move the arrow and direct it to a free path. He looks, far ahead, smoke is already visible and the whistle of a locomotive is heard.
Looking back, he sees: his three-year-old son is running along the canvas towards the train and holding something in his hands. It was already too late to throw the arrow and run towards the son to take him away from the canvas. What to do?
Meanwhile, the train was approaching, and in two minutes, if it had not moved the arrow, the train would have to rush along another busy track and crash, which would lead to hundreds of human casualties. Then with all his heart he called out to God: “May Thy holy will be done,” crossed himself, closed his eyes and turned the arrow. A moment - and the train raced already along the canvas, along which his little son had just run. When the train was out of sight and the dust settled a little, the switchman ran to the place where his son was, thinking to find at least
the remains of a corpse, and what he sees: the boy, with his arms folded on his chest, lies prostrate on the ground. The father shouted to him: “My son, are you alive?” - “I am alive, alive,” he answered cheerfully, rose to his feet, continuing to press to his chest
crow. There was no trace of fear in his eyes. The father asked him: “How did you guess to lie down on the ground?” And the boy answered: "Some bright, handsome, kind young man with wings bent over me and bent me to the ground." The switchman realized that when he called to the Lord, God's Angel miraculously saved his child. (Trinity Leaflets from the Spiritual Meadow, p. 84).
