"Mobile Bank" is a set of services provided by Sberbank of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) via mobile communications to holders of bank cards of Sberbank of Russia.

Mobile banking is a convenient and simple service that allows Sberbank of Russia bank card holders to receive information about all card transactions using a mobile phone, as well as make payments, transfers and other operations at any time, anywhere.

Users of the "Mobile Bank" system have the opportunity to:

  • top up the balance of your mobile phone or the phone of a loved one with a single SMS;
  • · promptly receive notifications on card transactions on your mobile phone;
  • · receive upon request information about the limit of available funds and about the last five transactions on the card;
  • promptly suspend the validity of the card (block the card), for example, in case of its loss or suspicion of card fraud;
  • · make payments from the card account without coming to the Bank in favor of organizations with which the Bank has relevant contractual relations;
  • · transfer funds from one account of the Bank's card to another account of the Bank's card;
  • transfer funds to charitable foundation assistance to children with serious illnesses "Give life";
  • · receive notifications about transactions in Sberbank Online and passwords for transactions in Sberbank Online;
  • · to receive informational and advertising messages from the bank and its partners .

According to Chart 1, in Sberbank from 2008 to 2011 there is a positive trend in bank accounts with access via the Internet and mobile communications. This fact speaks only of positive trends in the development of electronic banking services.

According to Sberbank analysts, over the past six months, the number of customers connected to the Mobile Bank service has increased by 27% and amounted to 28 million people. Sberbank services are available on 95% of mobile phones. Sberbank plans that next year the number of active users of the service will grow up to 20%, including due to the expansion of the list of transactions by mobile devices and creating applications for all major modern platforms: iOS, Android, Samsung Bada, Windows Phone7. For 10 months of 2012, 6.5 million payments were made with the help of the Mobile Bank service for a total amount of 1 billion rubles.
