Why? The question should be asked to both parents and children. As for children, this is rather a disadvantage. life experience, frivolity, superficial attitude to life, but also a lack of parental authority. But it is thanks to traditions that we acquire a worldview, a way of life, and family customs. I think everything should come from the heart. The main thing is to understand that tradition is not a popular picture, that this is what is vital for us if we want our children to be happy and live their lives with dignity.

AT Holy Scripture it is said: “In deed and word, honor your father and mother, so that a blessing from them will come upon you, for the blessing of the father establishes the houses of children, and the oath of the mother destroys to the ground” (Sir. 3, 8-9).

As an illustration, I will tell two stories about parental blessing. Somehow a believing woman comes to me and complains that her husband drinks and behaves outrageously. Children suffer, families are on the verge of poverty. I ask, when did you marry him, did you ask your mother? She answered: “Oh no, my mother didn’t like him very much, she didn’t want me to marry him.”

And another story. I had a familiar believing old woman, Maria Andreevna Ganzhulevich. She was born in Zhytomyr in a large priestly family, in which she was the youngest, the last. In the early 1930s, her father was arrested and exiled to Siberia.

On the way to exile, he, a 74-year-old, blind and sick old man, thinking that he would die anyway, was simply thrown out of the heating wagon. But he did not die, and on foot, begging like a beggar, and spending the night where necessary, he reached the house.

When Maria, still just a girl, graduated from medical school (it must be said that this was a miracle, since the children of the dispossessed were not allowed to study in secondary and higher educational institutions), then she was assigned to a first-aid post at a sawmill. And so the pope, admonishing her, blessed her with an icon of the Mother of God to work for the good of that monstrous power, from which he suffered cruelly and unjustly.

I saw this icon and read the words of the parental blessing on it myself. Unfortunately, I don't remember verbatim. But I remember how I was struck by the seriousness of Father Andrei's attitude towards his daughter's forthcoming, uninteresting, as it seemed to me then, field.

He wrote that he blesses his daughter Maria for honest work and help for suffering people. I think it goes without saying that Maria Andreevna lived a long and dignified life. I remember one story. I matured to become a monk when my parents had already died. At the end of Great Lent, on Passion Day, the time for my tonsure was appointed. I decided to go home, like saying goodbye to family and friends.

I had a doubt: to talk about the tonsure to my own sister, who is 13 years older than me and raised me in childhood, or not. I was afraid that she would be upset. I was uncomfortable at the mere thought of parting with tears ... But, as I later realized, I was more driven by selfishness. I didn’t want myself to have unnecessary problems, emotional experiences.

At that time, I traveled from Kyiv and back "hitchhiking". The maximum wait for the car was no more than forty minutes. So I, without telling anyone about the tonsure, left the house. I was on the track for over three hours. Moreover, having decided to get on the chaise longue, I got stuck on the road, far enough away from home.

Neither there nor here. During this time, I had to change my mind about many things. And the longer I waited for the car, the more clearly it dawned on me that I was doing wrong to my sister.

Still, she is older than me, the most dear person after her parents, and it’s not easy for me to tell her about my changes in life, but I must ask her for blessings. Resigned to this thought, I crossed to the other side of the road. The bus pulled up and I was home within an hour. Having received a blessing from my sister, the next day I went to the track. How to track the receipt of the Blessing

Everything in life follows certain cycles. Thus, the grounding of material well-being occurs according to system 777. In this case, it is seven days, seven weeks and seven months.

Therefore, we will track three stages.
First stage

On the seventh day after writing the letter, you need to track what will happen to the material side of your life.

If a mother responded at your request and gave you her Blessing, then on the seventh day you make a profit to your house. It can be expressed in money, valuable gifts, and the like.
