Wall decoration can be carried out in a chaotic manner, try to alternate the stone, as when laying parquet. The surface of the side wall of the bathtub is not quite even and flat, so choose the thickness of the stone by gradually leveling the wall surface.
To make the finish original, start laying out the stone first on one side, and then on the other, and after that proceed to the final row.
The glue for fixing the decorative stone dries for a long time, so you can safely change the stones in places until you pick up the most beautiful option finishes. The main component for the manufacture of flexible stone is either sandstone or marble sand of fine fractions. Particles of these natural materials are processed in a special way and applied to the textile base. Flexible stone goes on sale in the form of rolls or slabs, and for finishing works it can be used anywhere.

How to create such beauty
The technology of work is ridiculously simple, but first you need to stock up necessary tools. You will need: a mounting knife, a ruler with a pencil, a wooden mallet, a roller or brush and a notched trowel.
The requirements for the surface to be treated are approximately the same as in the case of wallpaper finishing. The area where the flexible stone is applied must be clean, dry and even, and the base can be anything - metal, glass, drywall or OSB board. A flexible stone is mounted on a special glue with increased density and viscosity. The adhesive must be applied directly to the wall using a notched trowel. If a flexible stone is used in a roll, then, pressing it against the wall, it is rolled with a roller. Tiles are simply pressed tightly against the wall and knocked out with a wooden mallet.
Way seamless laying more time consuming, but worth it - as a result, the wall will look as if it was decorated with a piece of solid stone. In order not to see the joints, a building hair dryer is used. The joints of the tiles are heated and sand is rubbed between them from the edges of the material.
When the glue dries, the surface of the flexible stone must be treated with a hydrophobic composition - it is sold in the same place as the stone itself. After such a finishing treatment, the coating is not afraid of either water or dirt.
